Electrical Project Supervisor

BayWa-r.e. Power Solutions, Inc. is in search of an Electrical Project Supervisor to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will oversee construction initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of electrical work are met.
Compensation: $100,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee on-site management and coordination for all construction phases related to electrical systems.
  • Interpret and analyze architectural plans to effectively supervise the installation of electrical systems that meet high standards of quality and functionality.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies in contract documents to the Project Manager, collaborating to devise effective solutions.
  • Inspire and lead diverse teams of field personnel to achieve project-specific and overall organizational objectives.
  • Supervise daily operations of electrical teams, ensuring adherence to performance and safety protocols, and documenting all personnel-related issues.
  • Direct multiple teams to meet budgetary, scheduling, and construction goals, including overseeing the installation, inspection, and testing of electrical components.
  • Facilitate communication regarding field conditions and activities to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Ensure teams effectively manage tools and equipment necessary for project execution, including scheduling and returning items as needed.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of job site documentation, including delivery slips and operational paperwork.
  • Assist in liaising with inspectors and clients to fulfill project close-out requirements.
  • Generate and distribute comprehensive reports, including Daily Reports, Weekly Reports, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical installations, including both underground and overhead systems.
  • A degree in construction management or civil engineering is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC), Uniform Building Code (UBC), and OSHA regulations; Journeyman Electrician or NABCEP certification is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be capable of performing physical tasks that require full mobility.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Must be able to lift and move items exceeding 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and mechanical hazards.
  • Noise levels are typically moderate.
