JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for accurately pulling case orders using an electric pallet jack, organizing products based on assignments, and loading them onto designated routes within a dynamic team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently selects orders as assigned by the operations clerk and loads them onto the appropriate route.
  • Completes additional tasks as directed by supervisors.


QUALIFICATIONS
Education

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating an electric pallet jack is advantageous.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment for extended periods, including working in cooler conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Regularly lift products weighing up to 50 lbs during shifts, with occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs.
  • Must be capable of climbing on and off powered industrial equipment.
  • Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to work in confined spaces is necessary.

DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
Key decisions made independently include:

  • Selecting the correct items from designated slots.

Decisions requiring review and approval from supervisors include:

  • Any actions the selector is uncertain about.
