Job Title: HPM/RF Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled HPM/RF Engineer to join our team at PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will serve as an HPM/RF Engineer for a critical technologies office, providing technical expertise and support for the development and deployment of high power microwave (HPM) systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical analysis and recommendations for HPM system design and development
  • Perform critical analysis of technical data packages, including SRR/SFR/PDR/CDR presentations, HPM acceptance test planning/results, HPM lethality analysis, and HPM risk mitigation strategies
  • Interface with Naval Surface Warfare Division-Dahlgren HPM SME's to provide leadership and recommendations on various efforts
  • Work with stakeholders to gain approval to operate HPM systems both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Perform all source analysis to acquire required technical specifications
  • Provide professional engineering advice, guidance, and assistance in various stages of research, development, and deployment
  • Formulate and estimate technical parameters that are not available from all source analysis
  • Support preparation of risk assessment reports, safety assessment reports, and technical data packages and presentation materials
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Experience evaluating, coordinating, and risk mitigating with HPM/RF systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplined team
  • Experience with Directed Energy Weapon Initial Operational Employment Review and Approval Process (DEWRAP) process
  • Experience with wide range of sensors (EO/IR, Radar, etc.)
  • Experience with non-kinetic effectors (Lasers, EW, etc.)
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field; an additional 2 years of experience may substitute a Bachelors Degree for a MA/MS Degree.

Further, an additional 6 years of experience may substitute HS Diploma for a MA/MS Degree.

Clearance Requirements:

An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work.
