Job SummaryThe successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on High Power Microwave (HPM) systems, providing analysis and recommendations to the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO). This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with HPM/RF systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform critical analysis of technical data packages, including SRR/SFR/PDR/CDR presentations, HPM acceptance test planning/results, and HPM lethality analysis.
- Provide recommendations on emplacement of HPM systems to maximize lethality while limiting impact to equipment.
- Interface with Naval Surface Warfare Division-Dahlgren HPM SME's to provide RCCTO leadership with recommendations on various efforts.
- Work with stakeholders to gain approval to operate HPM systems both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Perform all-source analysis to acquire required technical specifications.
- Provide Professional Engineering Advice, guidance, and assistance in various stages of research, development, and deployment.
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
- Experience with Directed Energy Weapon Initial Operational Employment Review and Approval Process (DEWRAP) process
- Experience with wide range of sensors (EO/IR, Radar, etc.)
- Experience with non-kinetic effectors (Lasers, EW, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products
