Retail Inventory Operations Specialist

Retail Inventory Operations Specialist needed at Walgreens in Rochester, MN. As a Retail Inventory Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store. This includes front end and pharmacy inventory management activities, such as receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. You will also be responsible for receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. Additionally, you will validate and ensure the accuracy of planograms and review and coordinate the proper use of reports and system applications, which have an impact on the accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store.
- Responsible for front end and pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
- Responsible for receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes.
- Validate and ensure the accuracy of planograms.
- Review and coordinate the proper use of reports and system applications, which have an impact on the accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
Requirements:
- One year of prior retail work experience with knowledge.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate.
- Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
