Job Summary

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified Part-Time Technical Writing Instructor to join our team. As a Technical Writing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Technical Writing courses and contributing to the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Technical Writing courses, including lectures, discussions, and assignments.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to ensure student success.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Technical Writing, English, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Technical Writing courses at the community college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
