Job Summary:

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
  • Greet customers and determine their vehicle needs
  • Explain features and demonstrate vehicles in the showroom or on a demonstration drive
  • Suggest optional equipment and accessories to customers
  • Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount
  • Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including sales slips and contracts
  • Arrange for vehicle delivery and registration
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment
  • Engage in business development and customer relationship-building activities
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous sales and customer service experience desired
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn web applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

The Sales Consultant will work in a fast-paced dealership environment, interacting with customers, colleagues, and management. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, including evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

The Sales Consultant will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as move around the dealership and customer test drives. The position may involve heavy standing work and exposure to various work environments.
