Automotive Sales Representative

Job Summary:
Sales Consultant at Hendrick Subaru (Hoover) - We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, while ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships with them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet dealership sales goals and targets.
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
- Explain features and demonstrate the operation of vehicles in the showroom or on demonstration drives.
- Suggest optional equipment and accessories to customers.
- Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
- Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including sales slips or contracts.
- Arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
- Research availability of models and optional equipment.
- Engage in business development and customer retention activities.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and CSI scores.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in required training and development programs.
- Record hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate the company's core values and behaviors.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous sales and customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn web applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
