Job Summary:

Sales Consultant at Hendrick Subaru (Hoover) - We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, while ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet dealership sales goals and targets.
  • Interact with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Explain features and demonstrate the operation of vehicles in the showroom or on demonstration drives.
  • Suggest optional equipment and accessories to customers.
  • Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
  • Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including sales slips or contracts.
  • Arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment.
  • Engage in business development and customer retention activities.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and CSI scores.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in required training and development programs.
  • Record hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values and behaviors.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales and customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn web applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and building strong relationships.
