We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check patients in at the front desk, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Perform a variety of office duties, including answering phones, entering data into the computer, and verifying and filing insurance.
- Process requests for medical records, billing, and accepting payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Prior healthcare business office experience preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Medical terminology knowledge and ability to maintain confidentiality.
