Licensed Vocational Nurse

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Outpatient setting. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN to join our team at the Riverside Medical Center - Head and Neck Clinic. This is a full-time position that requires bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including orientation of new employees and participation in staff meetings and in-service programs.
- Minimum 12 months of LVN experience in an outpatient setting within the last 3 years.
- Current Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) QBS Level II required.
- IV Certification and Blood Withdrawal Certification preferred.
