Position Summary:
Are you passionate about engaging with fellow boating enthusiasts and assisting them with innovative projects? If so, this role may be the perfect fit for you. We are seeking a Client Relations Specialist who will collaborate directly with customers on distinctive projects.

Key Responsibilities:
This position encompasses traditional customer service duties such as handling phone inquiries, responding to emails, and processing orders. However, the primary focus will be on more intricate projects, including the design of custom tackle storage solutions, dashboard panels, and more. The role demands comprehensive product training, a foundational understanding of engineering principles, and exceptional organizational skills. Each day presents unique challenges that require critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Essential Duties:

  • Evaluate customer needs and deliver assistance and information regarding product features.
  • Translate customer specifications, identify engineering obstacles, and serve as a liaison between the customer and engineering team.
  • Proactively oversee customer projects to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Balance company policies with customer interests in decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine interest in boating and related accessories (prior boating experience is preferred).
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • A positive, friendly demeanor with a sincere commitment to delivering exceptional service and closing sales.

Additional Information:

  • Compensation will be based on your background and relevant experience.
  • Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM (overtime may be available).
  • Evenings and weekends are generally not part of the work schedule.
  • Occasional travel to industry trade shows may be required.
