Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective system management and deployment strategies.
  • Configure deployment systems, including foreman and other tools, from initial hardware setup to software installation.
  • Create system configuration templates to streamline processes.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, PHP, and BASH to facilitate system integration.
  • Automate bare metal provisioning using IPMI and Redfish protocols.
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance clusters for various projects.
  • Work with technologies including Foreman, Ubuntu MAAS, Docker, Rancher, and Mesos.
  • Ensure system security meets compliance and hardening standards.
  • Optimize networking configurations for clusters.
  • Collaborate with vendors to strategize hardware upgrades and future deployment enhancements.
  • Design and 3D-print custom hardware components for diverse systems.
  • Assist in developing tailored embedded solutions for system monitoring and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Strong focus on automation to enhance efficiency and task operability.
  • Proficient in leveraging emerging technologies for large-scale data analysis.
  • Comprehensive experience across various technologies, including scripting, development tools, analytic frameworks, and networking.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and work with new technologies.
  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
