We are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to support our financial reporting process and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP accounting matters and experience with financial statement preparation and SEC reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
  • Acting as the subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC regulations for preparing and filing SEC reports
  • Managing the development, implementation, and adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Preparing technical accounting memos and analysis as needed, including preparation and review of technical accounting items
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with new accounting standards and providing guidance to ensure proper accounting treatment
  • Collaborating with finance and operations teams to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of project accounting procedures for energy storage projects
  • Working closely with external auditors, preparing and providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and timely audit process
  • Providing technical accounting training to support the business in understanding the accounting implications relating to routine transactions
  • Supporting the Director – Revenue Cost Accounting; SVP, Finance & Accounting, and the executive leadership team by providing financial insights, guidance, and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making
  • Mentoring and guiding members of the accounting and finance team to ensure a high level of efficiency and expertise

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $106,000-$145,000, a discretionary annual bonus, and additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, EAP, 401(k), flexible work arrangements, and more.
