We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Account Manager to join our team at Transportation Insight Holding Company. As an Enterprise Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day tasks for assigned accounts, maintaining daily contact with customers, and acting as the face of our company to customer operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to assigned accounts, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Load Management: Manage assigned account loads, ensuring prompt build and activation, proper load coverage, and proactive customer communication throughout transit.
- Account Management: Monitor and manage account building, scheduling, and tracking responsibilities, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Manage communication of all applicable loads to after-hours tracking and coverage teams, ensuring timely updates and resolution of issues.
- Relationship Building: Develop and execute customer service expectations for assigned accounts, building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of customer interactions, account activity, and load management.
- Training and Development: Complete required training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred but not required.
- Experience: 1 year of transportation or logistics experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills, competitive nature with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail and highly organized, team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities, MS Office proficiency and related computer knowledge.
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. An employee in this position must be available to work occasionally on weekends and evenings during peak periods. Local travel is required, with limited out-of-state travel for special training and conferences.
