Job Summary:

The Warranty Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring that new homeowners receive high-quality warranty service in assigned communities. This role will involve working closely with homeowners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve warranty issues and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality walks and new homeowner walk-throughs to identify and address any issues.
  • Work with superintendents to ensure homes are prepared for homeowner walk-throughs.
  • Educate new homeowners on their home's features and identify potential repair needs.
  • Schedule subcontractor or vendor work for warranty repairs.
  • Complete minor repair work, including carpentry, patching, and painting.
  • Supervise trade contractors to ensure quality repairs and address any issues.
  • Obtain homeowner walk-through and warranty sign-offs.
  • Update Punchlist Manager with notes and photo documentation and report any issues to the Warranty Service Director.
  • Manage emergency after-hours calls for warranty issues.
  • Attend weekly construction, sales, and customer service team meetings.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required.
  • 2-3 years minimum construction fit and finish or repair experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods, and access small spaces.
