Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate Counsel specializing in Employment Law to provide strategic legal guidance for our Universal Destinations & Experiences division.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert legal advice on employment law issues to human resources, management, and internal legal teams regarding various employment-related topics, including workforce management, recruitment, accommodations, and compliance with discrimination and wage laws.
- Conduct thorough internal investigations related to employment complaints, ensuring all claims are addressed and documented effectively.
- Oversee pre-litigation processes, including drafting responses to agency charges and negotiating resolutions with opposing parties.
- Collaborate with both in-house and external counsel in mediation and litigation matters concerning employment claims.
- Design and implement training programs for management and employees on employment law topics.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of personnel policies, staying updated on relevant laws and communicating changes to company personnel.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited institution.
- Active member of the State Bar of Florida or another state bar with registration as in-house counsel.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Employment Law.

- Analytical thinker with a knack for assessing risks and developing strategic solutions.
Additional Information
This position is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office contributions a minimum of three days per week. Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization in the United States and be open to travel as needed.
