Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately process payroll for employees in a timely manner, factoring in overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other relevant elements.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations while staying informed about legislative changes that may affect payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with HR to address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Generate and distribute precise payroll reports to management, offering insights into payroll expenses and trends.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and address discrepancies to ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Prepare and submit payroll taxes, including quarterly and annual filings, in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.
  • Assist in payroll-related audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data across various systems.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting is preferred.
  • Experience in processing payroll within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Workday and UKG Workforce Central or Pro WFM (Dimensions) is essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
