Veterinary Surgery Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Surgery Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surgical suites and equipment for procedures
  • Monitor vital signs during surgery and provide support to veterinary surgeons
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including handling tissues for analysis
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Assist in emergency surgeries and provide critical care to patients
Requirements:
  • Clinical experience in veterinary surgery required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff and clients
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP) required
