Veterinary Surgery Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surgical suites and equipment for procedures
- Assist with patient preparation and anesthesia management
- Provide surgical instruments and supplies to veterinarians and veterinary technicians
- Monitor patients in recovery and provide postoperative care
- Take and process X-rays and ensure proper patient positioning
- Clean, maintain, and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners and provide updates on surgical procedures
- Assist in emergency surgeries and administer emergency medications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active CA-RVT license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clinical experience in veterinary surgery
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
