Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Oversee the accounting and financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Conduct regular reviews of operating reports and identify areas for improvement.
- Process insurance claims and liability insurance, and review financial statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare all taxes and filing forms with the government, and support financial and operational audits.
- Meet with department managers regularly to discuss business matters and develop plans to increase profitability.
- Drive best practices and continuous improvement to maximize store performance and achieve a clean balance sheet.
- Ensure dealership managers comply with Asbury policies and procedures, and report any deviations to the Regional Controller.
- Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring accounting personnel and dealership managers on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong financial background and experience in accounting and financial management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and profitability.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with additional accounting software programs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
