Exciting Opportunity for a Financial Operations Specialist

Job Store PRO is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team in the IT industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of diverse accounting tasks and play a key role in the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Coordination: Work with multiple payroll vendors to manage US employees, a Colombian subsidiary, and international contractors. Handle benefit management, commissions reports, and payroll entries.
  • Sales Tax Management: Oversee sales tax nexus in 30+ states, collaborating with Avalara, reconciling QuickBooks, and managing tax-exempt customer paperwork.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate tracking of costs. Handle customer refunds and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Foreign Transactions: Manage money transfers and tax compliance for the company's Colombian subsidiary while maintaining a unified financial view.
  • Banking & Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, ensure payments are processed accurately, and maintain security measures like ACH Fraud Manager.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide P&L, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, and more to leadership. Prepare government purchasing contract reports and handle insurance renewals.
Qualifications:
  • QuickBooks Expertise: Intermediate to advanced QuickBooks experience required.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Formal training or a degree in accounting is strongly preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle complex transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Spanish Language: Understanding of Spanish is a plus, or willingness to learn using translation tools.
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with accounting in the IT field is a major advantage.
