Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Friendship Community Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavioral support plans for individuals with behavioral and social/communication challenges.

Job Summary:

The primary function of the BCBA is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients. This includes conducting behavioral assessments, developing individualized goals and objectives, and designing behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs.
  • Design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data and ensure appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented.
  • Train behavior technicians on ABA program and individualized plans of care.
  • Conduct regular parent/caregiver and teacher training and consultation.
  • Develop materials, training, and provide resources for and provide professional learning to parents/guardians in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and and/or other evidence-based methodologies related to addressing the needs of students with behavior difficulties.
  • Review technician's documentation and data collection and provide feedback as needed.
  • Communicate through checking voicemail and email regularly.
  • Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians.
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner according to written procedures and regulatory/payer guidelines.
  • Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers, and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Participates in professional meetings or conferences.
  • Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of FCC.
Requirements:
  • At least three years' experience serving individuals with ASDs with a full range of skills and abilities.
  • Experience with staff training and supervision.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Masters in behavior analysis or related field.
  • BCBA certification.
Language Skills:

Ability to read, write, and interpret medical history, assessment reports, and relevant data. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
