As a Behavior Technician/RBT, you will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder, providing ABA therapy in various settings, including the client's home, school, or community.
Responsibilities- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy, following an individualized treatment plan created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implement behavior plans, collect data, and submit detailed session notes
- Participate in training and team meetings, and collaborate with supervisors and peers
- Current RBT certification, or willingness to complete the 40-hour certification course and pass the certification prior to starting
- Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to obtain required certifications and training, including First Aid
- Reliable transportation with a current and clear driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, including FBI and child abuse clearances
