Role Overview:

As a Project Management Specialist at The Maxis Group, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional support to our clients and internal teams by overseeing the comprehensive execution of technical programs related to photo enforcement. Your role will ensure timely delivery and resolution of challenges.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring the progress of various projects by collaborating with stakeholders across multiple domains such as Construction, Software Development, Field Operations, and Legal. You will manage client expectations, provide management with regular status updates, and proactively address risks and issues to drive them to resolution. Additionally, you will develop and oversee project plans, communicate timelines to stakeholders, and ensure the successful completion of all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of client implementation projects, including new client acquisitions and program expansions.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Create, distribute, and manage consolidated project plans, status reports, and dashboards while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, actions, and dependencies, ensuring alignment through effective communication.
  • Work closely with Operations, Account Management, and Legal teams to manage client expectations through timely and clear communication.
  • Track and report on project financials throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in a dynamic work environment.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks for yourself and your team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management within a fast-paced setting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is preferred.
  • Experience in relevant industries such as photo enforcement or client implementation is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems is required.
  • Proven ability to coach, lead, and influence team members.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in managing projects and schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and applicable roles.
  • Experience with Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills, along with expertise in stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tasks.
  • Some experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools like Planview or Mavenlink is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices and tools is a plus.
