Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing and Overseeing Clinical Care:
  • Manage nursing operations within the SGF-Orlando facility.
  • Delegate patient care responsibilities effectively.
  • Provide care for selected IVF patients as necessary to support program functions and evaluate the appropriate level of care required.
  • Serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding ongoing clinical education, complex patient care, and workload distribution.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sterility, and operational readiness of all equipment and instruments in examination rooms.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures in accordance with established OSHA standards.
  • Initiate emergency response protocols when patient emergencies occur.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures as required.
  • Oversee supply ordering and maintenance for examination rooms.
  • Work to maintain departmental budgetary compliance.
  • Assist with clinical staff workloads and provide coverage during absences.
  • Ensure that RNs are knowledgeable about the OAP system and manage patient care effectively.
  • Guarantee the efficiency of Back Office Operations and responsiveness to all callbacks.
  • Act as a liaison among physicians, nursing staff, and sonographers to ensure appropriate case management and adequate staffing.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for medication logs and patient documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with AAAHC and other regulatory standards for nursing services.
  • Provide adequate and safe supplies and equipment for examination rooms:
  • Control inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Assess the need for new or alternative supplies and equipment.
  • Collect data for new equipment requests to the Director of Operations.
  • As a clinical expert in infertility, liaise with the Medical Team regarding clinical protocols and equipment updates.
  • Conduct monthly nursing department meetings to review SOPs, clinical protocol changes, and advancements in the field.
  • Ensure all staff maintain BLS certification every two years.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in IVF/fertility and a background in women's health is advantageous; training will be provided.
  • Valid RN license is required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills and self-motivation are crucial.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical RN role is necessary.
