Key Responsibilities
  • Room Preparation and Cleaning: Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, adhering to our brand's quality and cleanliness guidelines.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of our busy hotel.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other essential items.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that our standards are being met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification and Blood Borne Pathogen certification preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Standing and Walking: Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Repetitive Movement: Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
