About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Area Manager to join our team at Agilent Technologies. As a key member of our global logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of our products to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of inventory control staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of inventory transactions.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control processes and procedures to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and guidance to inventory control staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory control processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in inventory control and logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
