Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure that all warehouse operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of warehouse employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, track orders, and investigate any discrepancies or issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners is also required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Working Conditions
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Reach Truck: Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a hot or cold warehouse environment.
