Job Overview

The role of the Brand Ambassador at Citizen Cider involves representing the company at various promotional events and tastings across Vermont.

This position collaborates closely with the state manager to facilitate on-site tastings, samplings, and support for a variety of events, such as golf tournaments, beer festivals, and other promotional activities.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Brand Ambassador is expected to contribute valuable insights to enhance team dynamics and improve relationships with partner accounts. The hours and events are flexible, allowing for a variable time commitment. This role requires a responsible, self-driven, and approachable individual who can engage with a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and represent Citizen Cider within the market
  • Facilitate tastings and samplings in various trade settings
  • Support on-site promotions at venues
  • Showcase Citizen Cider products in the market
  • Assist with programming at the account level
  • Represent Citizen Cider at festivals, trade shows, and other events
  • Communicate brand values and foster relationships with key accounts as directed by the Sales Manager
  • Ensure brand presentation aligns with guidelines and maximizes visibility
  • Utilize social media knowledge
  • Coordinate public relations and social media efforts with the Citizen Cider Marketing Team

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • A passion for Vermont's craft cider
  • Experience in marketing and sales is advantageous
  • A proactive team player who seeks effective solutions
  • Flexible availability for evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to work outside standard hours
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license
  • Reliable transportation is necessary

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience
  • At least one year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in marketing or communications
  • 1-2 years of experience as a brand ambassador or in marketing
