Job Summary:

The Front Desk Representative is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by effectively managing room assignments and rates.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest payments and handle cash handling and credit policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including the Front Office log and Trace File.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
