Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator Inpatient Rehab

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Inpatient Rehab team at Medical City Frisco. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care services in the Inpatient Rehab unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Must hold a TX RN license or a compact license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 2+ years of acute hospital experience.
  • 1+ years of RN leadership experience.
