We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ground Transportation Coordinator to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to passengers, ensuring a smooth and efficient ground transportation experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and Assist Passengers: Greet passengers at the taxi curbside and offer assistance or directions to ensure a seamless travel experience.
- Dispatch Taxicabs: Direct passengers to the appropriate taxi or limousine service, ensuring a sufficient number of vehicles are available for traveling passengers.
- Communicate with Drivers and Co-Workers: Communicate effectively with drivers, co-workers, and supervisors to address any concerns and ensure a safe and efficient operation.
- Report Incidents and Maintain Records: Write factual reports regarding any incidents or issues that deviate from normal operation, and maintain accurate records of limousine usage.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Clean and maintain the surrounding work area, including glass cleaning and sweeping of trash, and ensure the break room is clean and tidy.
- Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of the Metro Area: Knowledge of the local area is desirable, but not essential.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
This is a 100% outside work position, requiring regular exposure to outside weather conditions, including snow storms and extreme heat. Employees will work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations and must be safety-conscious at all times.
