Engineering Technician Job Description:

Hillis-Carnes Capitol Services is seeking an Entry-Level Inspection Professional to join our team in Washington, DC. As an Entry-Level Inspection Professional, you will be responsible for performing field observations and testing of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to inspect construction materials, including soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, reinforcing steel, and sprayed-on fireproofing.
  • Collect and analyze data from site inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Communicate findings to the project team through verbal and written reports.
  • Collaborate with senior staff members on various projects as needed.
