Job Overview

The Assistant Foreman will oversee daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organize tools, machinery, and materials for optimal use.
  • Manage field workers, supervise daily tasks, and oversee construction activities.
  • Identify and requisition necessary materials and equipment for smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate contractor activities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate worksite records, document site conditions, and communicate project progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.
  • OSHA 10 Certification, experience with hand/power tools, and understanding of building regulations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, work in extreme conditions, and drive company vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, methods, and materials, with the ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
