Job Overview

We are looking for motivated candidates to fill the roles of Entry-level or Senior-level Engineering Technician in our office located in Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field observations and testing of construction materials
  • Report observations and findings to project team verbally and/or in writing
  • Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects
  • Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
  • Successfully complete necessary certifications (company-paid) to perform testing and inspection tasks
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School degree or GED equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geology a plus)
  • Valid certifications are a plus and will result in higher starting pay
  • Ability to meet pre-employment criteria, including motor vehicle record
  • Provide suitable personal car for use on job sites. Mileage will be reimbursed.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematic computations
  • Interest in working outdoors on construction sites
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds
Compensation and Benefits
  • $500 signing bonus
  • Competitive starting pay based on prior experience ($70,000 - $90,000 per year)
