Job Overview

Vantage Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead our base building construction projects. Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Develop and implement project mobilization plans, review plans and specifications for scope and constructability, and coordinate with internal project management teams.
  2. Field Supervision: Direct field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  3. Communication: Maintain harmonious relations with owner representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and jurisdictional inspectors through effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in base building commercial construction
  • Familiarity with all trades associated with base building construction, including site work, concrete, masonry, steel, rough carpentry, roofing, framing, and GWB
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
