Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates communication between Borrowers, Loan Officers, Processors, Title Companies, and Underwriting teams to ensure efficient and timely closing of mortgage loan transactions.
  • Conducts thorough reviews of files received from processing to confirm that all conditions are satisfied for a clear to close.
  • Prepares necessary documentation for members according to various loan programs, ensuring accuracy in rates and interest information while communicating final closing figures.
  • Performs comprehensive audits of all closing documents to guarantee completeness and correctness, including title reports and lock confirmations.
  • Secures and verifies closing conditions to align with loan underwriting standards.
  • Coordinates closing appointments with branches, attorneys, title companies, real estate agents, and borrowers.
  • Educates members on loan policies and closing procedures, addressing discrepancies promptly and resolving any closing issues as they arise.
  • Conducts audits of all Heloc files prior to funding to ensure accuracy.
  • Handles loan funding responsibilities, including boarding the loan, posting payments, and distributing payoffs to lenders.
  • Delivers exceptional member service by addressing inquiries related to mortgage loan activities, including the preparation of closing documents and reviewing settlement statements.
  • Fosters and maintains strong, positive working relationships within the organization, demonstrating commitment to the company’s mission and core values.

Education: High School Diploma (required)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in mortgage closing (preferred). Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage loan services, RESPA, state and federal regulations, and escrow requirements (preferred). Strong mathematical and calculation skills (required). Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Internet and Email (required).
