Position Overview

The Senior Accounting Specialist thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, demonstrating strong teamwork and prioritization skills to meet both personal and collective goals.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Accounting Specialist will undertake the following tasks:

  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition for standard transactions
  • Manage routine accruals
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with IFRS
  • Conduct accounting research and generate ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Maintain monthly account reconciliations
  • Oversee and reconcile inter-company transactions
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform each essential duty. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Preferred: 1 year of accounting experience
  • Preferred: Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards
