Wendle Motors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Admin team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring the timely collection of receivables. If you have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service, we invite you to apply.

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. $18-$22 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect overdue accounts and establish repayment schedules through regular contact with customers.
  • Collect and resolve NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) checks and report to the Comptroller weekly.
  • Print and mail monthly Accounts Receivable statements.
  • Maintain and update customer account records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, invoices, and payments.
  • Receive and process payments from accounts receivable customers.
  • Assist with resolving account discrepancies and preparing adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with credit and legal requirements, advising management on necessary actions.
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, and maintaining financial historical records.
  • Contribute to team efforts by supporting co-workers within Admin and other departments with administrative tasks and special projects as required.
  • Assist with phone coverage in reception as needed.
  • Assist with any mail or bank runs as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with managers, co-workers, and customers.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Customer service experience and skills.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Some accounting experience or experience working in a car dealership is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and present information effectively.
  • Strong math skills including basic algebra, rates, ratios, and percentages.
