Position Summary:
The Global Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing data to pinpoint inefficiencies and identify potential enhancements within the supply chain framework, particularly focusing on global supply planning processes such as inventory management, manufacturing, procurement, operations, and distribution. This position provides vital analytical support to supply planning leadership, facilitating informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to drive improvements in inventory management, production efficiency, and data accuracy through the use of metrics and dashboards.
- Collaborate with supply planning team members to gather and document business requirements, operational procedures, and data specifications.
- Assist in standardizing processes across the supply chain by developing and leveraging process documentation and training materials.
- Support the implementation of standardized work practices and change management initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent understanding and effective use of ERP planning tools within the plant.
- Collect and analyze data on supply chain operations, providing reporting and analytical support for various requests.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance strategic processes related to supply planning, procurement, and manufacturing.
- Under the guidance of senior management, execute projects aimed at improving supply chain operations.
- Foster and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including logistics, distribution, IT, sales, and marketing.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and ensure adherence to established processes and procedures.
- Validate and enhance master data accuracy to optimize system performance.
- 3-5 years of experience in material planning, logistics, operations, or related supply chain functions.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to summarize and interpret large datasets effectively.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including statistical modeling and trend analysis.
- Exceptional technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of material planning and forecasting processes.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Understanding of the supply chain function and its interdependencies within the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
