We're seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior System Administrator to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Support IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems.
  • Configure and manage Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software.
  • Administer and secure network switching and routing devices.
  • Manage and maintain network security through access controls and path management.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize IT systems.
  • Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Configure and manage Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software.
  • Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to customers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 10 years of total experience with Security+ certification.
  • Experience with implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing IT systems.
  • Experience with performing daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Experience with providing Tier 1/Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
  • Experience with optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Experience with configuring and managing Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software.
  • Experience with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Experience with providing detailed analysis and feedback to customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Windows Operating System (Server & Desktop).
  • Experience with Exchange/Active Directory.
  • Basic network administration (Cisco routers/switches).
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience working within a software development environment.
  • Agile methodology.
Security Clearance Requirements:

Currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
