Position Overview:

The Lead Barista at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City plays a crucial role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position is dedicated to providing swift service, high-quality beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively assess guest and store requirements by continuously monitoring the environment and guest interactions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest and team member inquiries as necessary.
  • Maintain composure during peak service times.
  • Consistently prepare high-quality beverages and food items by following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by prioritizing guest satisfaction and building connections.
  • Ensure a clean and organized environment for guests at all times.
  • Adhere to all cash handling procedures as outlined in company policies.
  • Guarantee the quality, consistency, and visual appeal of all products served.
  • Promptly report any observed illegal activities or ethical violations to the appropriate management.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Availability to work various shifts as needed.
  • Adapt to different tasks throughout the shift as directed by supervisors or management.

Work Environment:

  • The work setting is dynamic, fast-paced, and can be crowded and noisy. Employees may encounter environmental factors typical of a casino, including secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
  • Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests regarding job responsibilities.
