Job Overview

As a Senior Coffee Specialist, you will elevate the customer experience by sharing your enthusiasm and expertise for the café with every interaction. Acting as a key support to the café manager, you will mentor, motivate, and cultivate an environment that fosters growth and development among baristas. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Exemplify the café customer experience by ensuring consistent, friendly, and personalized service, setting a standard through your actions and the training you provide.
  2. Maintain a vibrant café atmosphere that welcomes all patrons, ensuring a well-stocked display of baked goods and merchandise, complemented by a team that greets customers warmly.
  3. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide insightful recommendations that enhance service delivery.
  4. Drive positive sales outcomes through efficient inventory management and a solid understanding of operational connections to financial performance.
  5. Coach fellow baristas, in collaboration with the café manager, to identify growth opportunities and reinforce the link between service quality and results.
  6. Resolve challenges effectively while supporting colleagues by removing barriers to success.
  7. Promote customer engagement through café sales initiatives, including sampling and promotions.
  8. Assist in maintaining compliance with visual merchandising standards in partnership with the café manager.
  9. Ensure adherence to operational standards, safety, and health regulations in a timely manner.
  10. Safeguard company assets by accurately executing loss prevention protocols.
  11. Foster collaborative communication within the team, upholding company values through fair feedback and accountability.
  12. Participate actively in café operations, which may involve physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and operating equipment.
