Position Summary:
We are in search of a Senior Food Services Team Supervisor to support the daily management of our Food and Beverage Operations at our flagship location. Our café is inspired by the beloved FRIENDS™ television series, offering a unique environment for guests to enjoy quality coffee and delightful pastries.
The Senior Food Services Team Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing café operations during assigned shifts, focusing on team training and development while ensuring a remarkable guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess barista expertise, supervisory experience in the hospitality sector, and exceptional leadership abilities paired with a strong dedication to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation.
- Manage daily operations of the café during shifts.
- Inspire and guide the team to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and mentorship to both new and existing team members.
- Evaluate team effectiveness and relay feedback to management.
- Guest Engagement:
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service and positive interactions.
- Address guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the café.
- Manage cash transactions and fulfill orders efficiently.
- Café Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in the café.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Oversee inventory management.
- Communicate ordering needs to management promptly.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Uphold high standards for food and beverage preparation.
- Assist in supervising to maintain product consistency.
Qualifications:
- Full vaccination against Covid-19 is required.
- Valid NYS food handlers certificate is necessary.
- Ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move food service inventory and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Experience Required:
