Clinical Pharmacy Manager required for a contract to permanent position with Yoh's client.

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Clinical Pharmacist is essential
  • Supervisory experience or advanced education is highly desirable
  • Availability to work onsite during standard business hours
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination and enhancement of all clinical pharmacy services in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations Manager.
  • Drive the development, execution, and upkeep of systems that foster positive patient outcomes through safe and effective medication management.
  • Support the director in creating and sustaining new initiatives to adapt to the department's evolving requirements.
  • Lead and cultivate clinical programs, particularly in specialized areas such as:
    • Outpatient infusion/oncology
    • Transplant services
    • Ambulatory pharmacy services
  • Establish and uphold advanced practice functions and pharmacy-driven protocols.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor Clinical Pharmacists, residents, and students while assisting Pharmacy leadership in succession planning.
  • Guide and support the clinical pharmacist team to enhance workflow, efficiency, and clinical presence.
  • Provide scheduled pharmacy in-services on new medications to healthcare professionals to promote awareness of pharmacy advancements.
  • Coordinate and lead Pharmacy and Therapeutics meetings in partnership with the Director and Infection Control.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completion of a Clinical Pharmacy residency preferred
  • Completion of a PGY1 residency
  • Licensed Pharmacist in California
  • BLS Certification
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Pharmacist role required
  • 8-10 years of experience in a Health-System setting required
  • 3-5 years of supervisory or advanced education experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying medical information
  • Proficient computer skills
