Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our HR team in downtown Detroit. This role will be responsible for managing payroll processes, benefits administration, and serving as the main point of contact for payroll inquiries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Reconciliation: Conduct weekly or monthly reviews of invoices to ensure accuracy, identify process improvements, and coordinate with Finance on PO funding as required.
  • Integration Error Coordination: Monitor error logs and follow up accordingly among vendors.
  • Data Management: Manage new hires, terminations, and life event management (benefits enrollment) by updating multiple systems to ensure consistency of information and creating reports.
  • Payroll Processing: Serve as Payroll lead for ADP WorkforceNow and ADP Comprehensive HR Services, understand how to approve and submit payroll, and have experience with Time & Attendance in ADP.
  • Special Projects: Assist with the implementation of full integration of ADP Comprehensive Payroll.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in corporate Benefits and Payroll.
  • Tech savvy enough to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Understanding of both benefits and payroll administration process flow.
  • Experience reconciling invoices.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors, employees, and finance department.
  • Experience working for an organization that has gone through process changes or helped support company process changes or transformations.
  • Experience with ADP.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
