The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing transportation planning operations, managing key elements of the County's comprehensive plan, and spearheading planning initiatives for transportation infrastructure to accommodate growth. This includes crafting planning documents and delivering insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation planning strategies to meet the needs of our growing community.
  • Manage and coordinate transportation planning projects, including the development of planning documents and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and other transportation professionals.
  • Represent the Department of Transportation at technical advisory committees and other meetings.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform transportation planning decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in transportation planning or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
