Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Integration: Collaborate with medical equipment planners to finalize equipment plans, specifications, and room data sheets. Ensure timely procurement of Architecturally Significant Equipment (ASE) for major facility projects.

2. Coordination: Facilitate communication and scheduling between Supply Chain Services and Facilities Management to streamline project execution.

3. Budget Management: Develop and oversee the equipment budget for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

4. Problem Solving: Identify and address challenges effectively, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal patient care within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in healthcare furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) project coordination.
  • Proficiency in procurement processes for healthcare equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to interpret architectural plans for effective space planning of medical equipment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is advantageous.
Essential Skills
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate materials management with design and construction teams.
  • Excellent computer proficiency in management information systems and business software.
