Harmonium Inc. has been dedicated to addressing community needs since its inception in 1975. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves over 30,000 individuals annually, providing innovative and tailored services to children, youth, and families across San Diego County.
Role Summary:
The Program Site Manager is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and administration of designated program sites. This role includes facilitating regular meetings with parents to share vital information, conducting staff meetings, implementing progressive disciplinary measures, and orchestrating engaging program activities while ensuring that all administrative documentation is precise and submitted punctually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the program in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Provide consistent supervision and support to staff members.
- Design and implement creative in-person and remote learning activities.
- Develop and manage student behavior and transition plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance and snack distribution records.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Completion of 48 college units or successful passage of the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam.
- Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire.
- At least one year of experience in an afterschool program or childcare setting with elementary or middle school-aged children.
- Completion of 12 college units in child development, education, recreation, or a related field, or equivalent documented experience in an ASES program.
- One year of supervisory experience with children and staff, or one year of assistant supervisory experience within Harmonium, or demonstrated administrative and programmatic experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
The starting hourly rate for this position is $26.52. All new hires will begin at this starting salary, regardless of prior experience. Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, pet, life, and critical illness insurance, along with a 403b retirement plan with matching contributions, and paid vacation and sick leave. We also provide hands-on training and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Work Schedule:
