Key Responsibilities:- Scheduling and Registration: Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, and pre-admission processes to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Financial Clearance: Verify patient insurance, benefits, and coverage, and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services.
- Medical Records and Insurance Coordination: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure seamless claims processing.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience: 0-1 year in a customer service role; 0-1 year administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in medical terminology and insurance concepts.
